Moo Sample Package and Business Cards!

First thing first, pat on my back for the second time blogging in the same week. And actually going to post something informative for some of you guys, hopefully.

So, for who those who don’t know, I’m graduating from Sheridan Animation end of this April. The fourth year students will be having an industry day next week, it’s a day where the people from the industry come to take a look at our film and works and probably can give some students an interview the next day. It’s a pretty significant day since not a lot of schools have the opportunity, though it’s an ‘official’ start to the job hunt.

One of the thing that required for us to do is make a new business card, that is reflects the film you’re making so people can remember what you do. I was one of the people that order the cards a bit later (oh, we all do). I was debating if I should order from Moo.com, it is a popular site for business card for what I know, they make a very, very, very, nice high quality cards. I didn’t think it was worth it since I was designing this particular one just for the industry day, where I had to design it based on my film, plus it is really expensive, so I thought, fuck it. I would do it in the future for sure for more general business card. Though, they have this little samples that they send out for free, so I tried…

LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE!!! Seriously, the colors, the papers, they’re all sturdy cards, gloss, matte, thin, thick… Just touching them already makes me very happy. For those who haven’t got their own business card, I really recommend it. Not for the industry day, but for general use, for sure. But then again, I haven’t looked up too many places that print business cards, if anyone know good place, please share it! :)

A friend of mine recommended me vistaprint for my card, they look good for the money so I did. Here’s my new cards. I’m pretty sure I ordered a bit too much. Probably going to make it rain at the end of the industry day.

P.S. For those who come by here and there to my site probably realized the difference of the layout. I am currently working on changing stuff a little, if you catch any dead links or any bugs please let me know :)

Bronte Creek Late Post

So, I lied that I was going to post stuff from my film last time. I didn’t end up doing it cause I was too busy doing the actual film. Now it is all done! Been having a little space to breath, can’t believe it school’s over in this week. Went to 2 hikes so far in this month. Dennis and I went to Bronte Creek a couple of weekends ago, nice park, but the weather at the moment was a little bit chilly.

Do it for the grams..

I’ll be updating my portfolio and looking for studios this week, going to be busy for the Industry day. Till then. Here’s my film’s poster!

Oh hey, look who’s updating their blog.

Went to Canada International Auto Show 2016 for the first time last weekend and..

never thought I’d see a real one in front of my eyes *_* I realized I didn’t take a lot of pictures on that day, but I played around with slow motion video instead. The compilations are all taken with 60fps, slowed down accordingly. The video doesn’t really judge what’s the overall or main part of the show, it is in fact a bit bias on the clips I chose, older cars attracts my attention more..

And this is the 15 sec IG clip

I’ve been really busy with school at the moment, like anybody else. As for now I’m on my last year in  Sheridan Animation, our thesis is making a minute (or more) film. So far it’s been a lot of fun, really really fun, it’s just time flies by when you need to finish something. We still have to do other portfolio on the side as well, so it’s a lot of to juggle.

Nevertheless! I can’t wait to say, “I’ve had a blast in Sheridan!” 2 and a half months left.

I will be updating stuff from my film soon! All the pre-productions and a bit of doodle/illustrations :)

P.S. Deadpool was awesome! Go and watch it!

Summer Car Junks

Back for fourth year, last year of the program ye yeeeh! A lot of new stuff happened during summer; met a BUNCH of new people, went to a lot of new places, did new stuff that I would have never think of doing, everything together helped me to get the motivation to push this last year of my school. The biggest project on this year is thesis film, a minute film, I will dedicate this film not only for myself, but for people that been supporting me doing what I’m doing and keep up with my childish ass all the way. Now, I’m saying all that as if I did my film already. I will try to post progresses of the making of it. Starting for next post, count on me on that.

I’ve been working with car affiliated group of people since this summer. In term of art and media, both photography and videos. I won’t post any videos here since the videos were made for Instagram, but you can check it out on my page right here. I will post some of the drawings I did, you car people might be able to appreciate this a little bit more, hopefully.

Loving this new batch media feature..

Like, 3 weeks ago, cause I’m  just bad at blogging nowadays.. BUT, the wait from last year was really worth it!! Everyone kept updating about their fanarts for it and I did the same, drew some of the cars from the movie.

Definitely one of my favourite movie this year.

Moving on, summer third year, I’m just in my internship right now, everything’s fine and I’m enjoying it so far.
